Admittedly I am a musical snob, but I remember when this stuff was at the front of the record store waiting for the middle-aged easy-listening crowd to pick up their copy. I’m kind of surprised to see a careful re-mastering and re-packaging and audiophile-adjacent re-release of this stuff.
Did I mention I’m a musical snob? But who am I to criticize, when I’m someone who has the complete Herb Alpert collection could claim that distinction.
