Still Here

Just in case you were wondering.

Working from home is actually pretty nice. We’ve got a basement room that was already set up as a studio/office. It’s bigger than my actual office at work, with the bonus of natural light. And even though I like my co-workers it’s nice to work without the distractions of a noisy office.

I’m also getting a chance to catch up on all the music I’ve collected over the last year or so. I’ve been fortunate to get my hands on some nice caches of vintage vinyl. I’m running my daily playlist on Instagram (see the right-hand column).

Other than that we’ve been working on the yard, where this week a doe dropped off her fawn for a day while she ran errands. The little dear spent about 24 hours laying down behind some of the large planters.

And Elyse has been spending her spare time working with the local mask group, sewing masks that they distribute to hospitals, homes, and other people who need them to stay safe right now.

In front of the TV or on the patio near the firepit, the good work continues.

Hope you’re staying safe too!
