Another Great Place I’d Never Been

Ever since I was a child, daffodils have made me feel good. Even when I was dodging bullies on the way home from school at age 6 or 7 I remember thinking, “this kid’s being an asshole, but hey those daffodils look great!”

So how’d I miss this place with something called simply, “the bowl” — as in, a bowl full of daffodils? A little past its prime, it’s a “bowl” that’s about 80 yards wide. Here’s a taste:

It’s sure to be a regular stop.
