F and I came to a perfect Christmas present agreement this year. Costco had snowshoes (just 69 bucks!), so we went out and got ’em.
Last year’s serial snowstorms had us itching to go…a week after the last one. By the time we figured out where to go it was too late.
But this year once again nature smiled on us as it has done so many times and made the post-Christmas blizzard a blessing (in disguise, even under deep cover, so to speak). After The Big Move was over, we drove up to South Mountain and spent an hour trudging around.
These Costco shoes seem just fine. I’ve only been out once in my life before, so I’m no expert. But they’re easy to slip on, and come with collapsible poles and a carrying bag.
