I’ve added a photo widget to the right column that steers people to my Flickr page, I’ve started taking better care of the pictures there. I’ve been giving them titles, and assigning map locations when I can remember where I was. If you see one that’s interesting, click on it!
Flickr’s a great way to share photos. I’m glad your filling out the data.
Have you been dragging your camera with you on your bike rides?
When I’m out on club rides it’s kind of a drop-the-hammer group, so stopping for snapshots won’t work. I’m a little (OK, a lot) hesitant to carry my big SLR around with me when I’m out by myself, but The Daughter has a point-and-shoot laying around that I’ve been meaning to borrow. Until then, it’s crappy cellphone snapshots.
Yeah I understand what it’s like to ride with “drop the hammer” riders. That’s why I go out alone. I just did not enjoy trying to keep the pace only to end up falling miles behind despite my efforts.
I take my camera but I rarely take anything more than a simple document of where I’ve been. The video is usually me saying how great or crappy I feel.
