If the election were held today, he might barely clear 40%.
There were some wonderful moments in last night’s coverage, every one of which I missed because our FIOS service is still out after Hurricane Sandy.
Please, don’t let him be president. His “etch-a-sketch” campaign is simply a disgrace, and nobody should be rewarded with high office for this kind of behavior. He is simply the most ridiculous candidate in my lifetime.
Up to a point. But no farther.

I, too, am a numbers guy.
Biden’s performance was just what we needed tonight. What a great way to highlight the absurdity of R/R’s policies.
One solution solves three problems. Secure IDs for legitimate voters. Massive outreach to be sure everyone that can be reached is registered. And the voting booth comes to you, so turnout is increased.

It’s not really a fact-check if the real job you’re doing is finding equivalency. That’s not fact-checking. It’s political gamesmanship.
Facts live on their own. An assertion is either true, or it’s not, and finding some kind of corresponding assertion from someone else neither balances it — two wrongs do not make a right — or negates it.
