I almost missed this: On July 27 it was 30 years since I moved from Ohio to the east coast. I’ve lived in this house in New Jersey for 20 of them — more than twice as long as I’d ever lived anywhere else.

The first concert of the Maplewood Community Band with me as it’s conductor is Sunday, July 19 at 7. The venue is Memorial Park, Maplewood, NJ.
