Well I’ve finally retired the old look for the other, non-blog, pages of my web site.

Well I’ve finally retired the old look for the other, non-blog, pages of my web site.

There may be better movies out there than this, but not very many and they’re not better by very much.
I’m working on redesigning the main part of my site, which is a bigger pain in the neck than I thought it would be because the text is so outdated.
The intellectual incoherence is stunning. Basically, the political philosophy of the GOP right now seems to consist of snickering at stuff that they think sounds funny. The party of ideas has become the party of Beavis and Butthead. — Krugman

Monday we explored the ruins of a former mill and stone quarry along the southern edge of Watcung Mountain.

I just got my master CD of the last orchestra concert, and to celebrate I’m putting up an audio clip of some band music.

For a few minutes there, we were the best concert band in town. Er, wind ensemble.
While E. and I were hiking on Watchung Reservation this afternoon, we found the foundations of an abandoned building, and lying nearby in plain sight this souvenir.
