I find myself wondering about the poor souls in PR departments who have to write glowing press releases about the bright future in which the membership will save $11 million annually in salaries and benefits, knowing full well that some of that is going to be them.
Landis is innocent until proven otherwise, but pro sports in general is guilty as charged. Now, the final sprint to the finish line isn’t the real drama. You don’t know who’s really won until a couple of days later when the lab results return.
