I find myself wondering about the poor souls in PR departments who have to write glowing press releases about the bright future in which the membership will save $11 million annually in salaries and benefits, knowing full well that some of that is going to be them.

Floyd Landis, continued

Landis is innocent until proven otherwise, but pro sports in general is guilty as charged. Now, the final sprint to the finish line isn’t the real drama. You don’t know who’s really won until a couple of days later when the lab results return.

Black Comedy

July 27th, 2006 | 0 Comments | Comedy, Entertainment |

If you haven’t yet tuned in to “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” on the F/X Network, take a look. July 23rd, 2006 | 0 Comments | Tech Stuff |

A Nice Music Resource

July 17th, 2006 | 0 Comments | Music |

Someone at the Indiana University Music School Library has been busy. They’ve been scanning in public-domain scores and publishing them as pdfs for all on their site. Despite being in the “early developmental” phase, they have 73 different operas, some 40 symphonies, many other orchestral works as well as lieder, chamber music and piano music. In […]
