Edison Museum

We were really excited that the Edison Museum in West Orange re-opened late last year after a five-year hiatus.

Saturday we paid a visit.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, for January at least, was almost mandatory on Monday. The Great Swamp isn’t exactly teeming with visible wildlife this time of year, but we saw lots of ice sculptures. LF also spotted a red-headed woodpecker.

Saturday LF got a hot tip: The Navesink River was frozen over, and ice boats were going to be out.

Tower City

Searching for a place to walk last night (out of the rain) we ended up at Tower City, in and under the landmark Terminal Tower. I took some cell-cam photos of the wonderful murals high up in the lobby.

On The Incline

We stopped over in Pittsburgh last night, and we were right at the foot of one of the famous inclines. How could we refuse a trip up to the top?

One of the highlights of our trip to Baltimore this weekend was a game at Camden Yards. A great place to see a game.

Last Day Of Vacation

A few weeks ago at the Presidio. We never actually saw the top of the Golden Gate Bridge the times were were up there, but we have it on good authority that there is one.
