looks like that “spiraling downhill” is at about mile 10.
You got some hill chops. I seem to only tolerate about a 500 ft. ascent in my rides. I’m trying to push it tho.
One thing I’ve realized over the past month is how good I feel once I do a climb. I’ve always hated the actual climbing part, duh no brainer but I’ve been using the memory of how good I feel once it’s over to push myself to go higher.

That’s about right, though it’s not a ten-mile climb to get there! If you get to the point where you can kick it up a cog or two when you’re close to the top, you know you’re getting strong enough to beat the hills, and not vice versa.
