Electricity, anyone?

The brutal heat wave continues, with temperatures here in NJ hovering in the high 90s to low 100s. We’ve had three blackouts since Saturday, including two yesterday evening. Each lasted about an hour. I respectfully suggest that we all be sure to turn off anything that’s not necessary. The 40-watt bulb over your stove may be the last straw that makes your local transformer blow up.
