The Full Count Big Band

Went to hear Phil Rinaldi‘s rocking Big Band at The Crossroads in Garwood, NJ last night.

My old bud Phil is the bandleader. A crew of four videographers were on hand, shooting footage that eventually will end up in an HBO documentary about touring bands.

A full classic “big band,” they feature four trumpets, four bones, five saxes, drums, piano, bass, guitar, and a lead vocalist.

I already had eaten, but the food is supposed to be awesome, cajun/creole style. I did manage to find room for a piece of their famous pecan pie.

Which was as good as it looks if not better.
