Christmas

Not much to write today, except Merry Christmas to all.

Today’s dinner was one of those red foil-wrapped Costco hams, Potatoes Dauphinois (from the Anthony Bourdain book) which is potatoes with herbs and garlic baked in heavy cream and topped with gruyere cheese. Yummy. And pan-roasted brussels sprouts with shallots. Pears poached in red wine was dessert.
