Maybe If They Read It…

Don’t ask why, but I’ve gotten myself on a couple of GOP e-mail lists. Sometimes it’s amusing to get the disinformation right from the horse’s mouth. Today’s missive from Chairman Steele says, in part:
“They are ramming this government-run health care program through Congress – when Americans don’t want it, and our country can’t afford it. At the beginning of this debate, eight ‘moderate’ Democrats insisted that Harry Reid pledge to allow senators and the American people 72 hours to read the full legislative text and CBO score prior to voting …”
Maybe if they read it they’ll learn that there’s no government-run healthcare in the bill. Liberals, to our dismay, already know that (thanks, Joe Lieberman).
