The site carries political parody to unprecedentedly manly lengths, and is a hoot; check it out.

OK, i’ll check out the site. But i take offense to this remark:

We have lives. And Oswald wasn’t the lone assassin, there were two or three other guys on the grassy knoll. And another two in a window of another building. “Triangulation of gunfire. That’s the ticket. That’s the ticket.” I know that cuz Oliver Stone and Jim Garrison say it’s so.

I used to read everything about JFK assassination conspiracies (except the Warren Report — I do have a life). “Libra” is one of my all-time favorite books.

But after Howard Hunt died my heart just wasn’t in it anymore.

By the way, did you know that the guy with the monkey-fur hair (what was his name?) went to Baldwin-Wallace? True story. I also heartily recommend “American Tabloid.” Whatta book.

Thanks for the book recommendation. The guys name was Dave Ferrie. Do you think the derogatory form of the term “Fairy” came about because of him? Or was it in use before that?

Reminds me of the movie “Baseketball”. I KNOW you’ve seen that movie. Don’t deny it.

Just in case you didn’t you should. One of the Baseketball teams was named the San Francisco Ferries. Another was the New Jersey Felons.

I think “fairy” predates him. Before “JFK” came out I’m not sure many people had heard of him, anyway. I’m also pretty sure he’s not been inducted into the B-W Hall Of Fame.

I may have seen “Basketball.” Was Ben Stiller in it? How do satirize baseball these days, anyway?

Baseketball did not star Ben Stiller. That was Dodgeball. Basketball stars Matt Stone and Trey Parker the South Park guys. Much funnier than Dodgeball.

The take baseball and mix it with basketball and create a sport and then one of them becomes a prima donna and the other one tries to be all about giving back but there’s so much more too it than that. Sight gags a plenty. Just wait til you see and hear the game announcers. They’ve got actual announcers, one is Bob Costas. Oh and BTW, i was wrong, it’s the Dallas Felons and the New Jersey Informants.

How about Office Space? Have you seen that one. Another winner when you feel like laughing. I don’t know how the working environment is out your way, but here in Silicon Valley it’s just like it is in Office Space. One of the best scenes is when the software guys get so fed up with the copier, they take it outside and start beating it up, punching and kicking it, slamming it with a baseball bat.

“B-W” = “Baldwin-Wallace”

I’ve seen Baseketball, also Office Space. Don’t remember much about the former but loved the latter. Never heard of “Miami Dealers,” tho. Mike Judge is a great observer, I tend to like his stuff even better than the South Park guys.
