NYSAE Concert This Sunday
If you’re in the New York neighborhood this March 29, the New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble will be playing at 3 p.m. It’s an all-classical program of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. Silas Huff conducts, Andrew Janss is the soloist in a Haydn ‘cello concerto.
This kind of program is relatively simplistic for us trumpet players, so they’ve agreed to let us just show up for the dress rehearsal today (trust me, we’ll be fine). So I can’t really tell you how it’s going to be. But there are worse ways of spending a (potentially) rainy Sunday.
Details: Julia Richman High School, E. 67th between 1st and 2nd, NYC. Admission is $10 (sorry, this one’s not free).
(Am I putting too many things in parentheses in this post?)
