Dear Diary…

June 11th, 2006 | 1 Comments | Uncategorized |

Well I do believe this blog is ready to roll out. Even with (or maybe even because of) advanced software that makes customization easy, it really does take a while to get enough of the kinks worked out to go live. So forgive me, dear reader, if today is far too lovely a day to sit here and work out any more of them.

Don’t let that deter you from making a (nice) comment or suggestion, though.

But by getting this up and running I’ve learned enough about the WordPress application to roll out versions for my other clients. It’s a good program, with lots of examples to crib from, and lots of good tech support out there.

What I Hope To Cover

The general categories are going to be biking (road, the kind with pedals); home including cooking, gardening, decor; music, mostly in the performing sense; politics, of a left-of-center persuasion; and technology including programming and toys such as stereo equipment etc.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to be able to post at least something of trivial interest every couple of days. I’ve got a full-time consulting gig going now, which makes it a little more tough — I have no intention of making work grist for this particular mill.
