Well I do believe this blog is ready to roll out. Even with (or maybe even because of) advanced soft­ware that makes cus­tomiza­tion easy, it really does take a while to get enough of the kinks worked out to go live. So for­give me, dear reader, if today is far too lovely a day to sit here and work out any more of them.

Don’t let that deter you from mak­ing a (nice) com­ment or sug­ges­tion, though.

But by get­ting this up and run­ning I’ve learned enough about the Word­Press appli­ca­tion to roll out ver­sions for my other clients. It’s a good pro­gram, with lots of exam­ples to crib from, and lots of good tech sup­port out there.

What I Hope To Cover

The gen­eral cat­e­gories are going to be bik­ing (road, the kind with ped­als); home includ­ing cook­ing, gar­den­ing, decor; music, mostly in the per­form­ing sense; pol­i­tics, of a left-of-center per­sua­sion; and tech­nol­ogy includ­ing pro­gram­ming and toys such as stereo equip­ment etc.

Thanks for stop­ping by, and I hope to be able to post at least some­thing of triv­ial inter­est every cou­ple of days. I’ve got a full-time con­sult­ing gig going now, which makes it a lit­tle more tough — I have no inten­tion of mak­ing work grist for this par­tic­u­lar mill.
