I’ve had it

Apologies for the blog being down Saturday. This is the second time in as many weeks that my totally useless hosting service has allowed a service to crash and stay crashed. In the process, I lost one short and one long post I’d written, plus a few comments.

I’m really livid about this. I noticed at around 11 p.m. EST last night that the database server was down. I put in a ticket through the automated system. An hour later, still no response. I asked again.

Then Saturday morning, still no response. I went on the live chat and talked with an operator, who said they were discussing the problem even then and he’d get right back to me with an answer. Now here it is eighteen hours later and there’s not even a comment from tech support for my original ticket.

This is teh suck, to say the least. It’s time to move out of this junkyard, so stay tuned.
