Most of the year I keep a wary eye on my wisteria. Given the opportunity, it will tear the roof off of my house and strangle me in my bed. But for a week or so each year the vines trailing up into my blooming plum tree send out their purple clusters. This is the view from my upstairs window. Wisteria
Of course, later in the summer I’ll be cutting off enough of it to fill a 30-gallon trash can and more. But it seems to like that, and keeps coming back for more.
