New Car

After many years and about 100,000 miles, I decided to give my 2001 Accord up. It was beginning to be a money pit, and I couldn’t quite see the bottom of it. At the time, it was the nicest car I’d ever owned. Plus, after the crazy year I had last year, I thought I deserved an even nicer car. Is that so wrong?

This is my 2008 Honda Accord EX-L. I got it at Madison Honda, which by the way is the best dealership I’ve ever been to. Low key, low pressure, and very helpful all the way. After doing a lot of research on my own, I knew what I was looking for in the new car and for my trade-in, and I was out of the parking lot with my new car in about four hours.

It’s got almost all the bells and whistles, including leather seats, XM radio, dual-zone heating, moonroof. And the A/C works. And less than 20,000 miles too. With a little care this will be my wheels for a long time.
